Love may start with infatuation, maybe pheromones, let’s face it something attracts you to each other and it isn’t always explainable. When falling in love it should be a tie between the heart and the head (brains). Infatuation doesn’t usually last. Love is what comes after, and not necessarily with the total loss of some of the qualities of infatuation.

Love to me is like that favorite book I read over and over. It gets wrinkled and the edges of the pages become “dog eared” but I would never dream of throwing it away. I love it more. I look forward to picking it up again and re-reading it. I always find something I missed or overlooked or forgot about in this book. I find comfort in that old book and in the fact that I know most of it by heart. Some parts of it excite me make my heart beat faster. Some parts make me feel so strongly I get tears in my eyes. Sometimes I have to look for the significance and how it applies to me. It has never grown old or tiresome.
